Illinois parrot rescue
program involves taking birds that are in unsuitable, life
threatening and dangerous situations.
We place them in a safe and caring environment with
professionals who understand the needs and requirements of
parrots.
These birds will be quarantined and assessed individually to
accurately give them the attention they need, whether this
involves medical attention or behavior management.
The rescued birds taken on by the IPR are birds that are
found in unsuitable and dangerous situations.
We also take in birds voluntarily handed in by the owners,
because they cannot provide for the birds due to life's
challenges.
